Patios continue to be a very common method of creating practical outdoor spaces that can be used for socialising, dining, or just to enhance the attractiveness of your garden. Patios are created from block or slab paving and can come in a large assortment of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns which have a consistent effect. Patios are very hard wearing and need almost no maintenance, only infrequent cleaning to maintain the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are often installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this creates a smooth transition between the inside and outside spaces.
Patios come in a huge array of colours and types of stone. Consider adding a different colour and kind of stone to either inlay an elegant design or as edging to accentuate the shape of your patio. It is crucial to consider the use of your patio when planning it and measure accurately to be sure that any furniture will fit the intended space. Specialist patio and paving companies will be able to design you a patio that perfectly fulfills your needs and creates an outdoor area that is useful as well as beautiful.

Acton is a district in the London Borough of Ealing in west London. It is 6.1 miles west of Charing Cross. In the 2011 census, Acton had a population of 62,480 – a ten year increase of 8,791 individuals.
Acton means ‘oak farm’ or ”farm by oak trees’, and originates from old English. It was initially an ancient village, and as London expanded it was absorbed in to the city. Since 1965, Acton has been part of the east of Ealing, but some parts of East Acton are within the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and a small portion of South Acton is inside the London Borough of Hounslow. Acton is one of the areas with the most stations bearing their name anywhere in the United kingdom, with seven stations including its name.
Central Acton is called the hub of commerce and retail on the former major road between London and Oxford, referred to as the Uxbridge Road. The main road consists of a lot of inns, which go as far back to the late Tudor period as stopping places for travellers. Currently, the A40 dual carriageway is the primary route from London to Oxford, and it bypasses central Acton. It still passes by means of East Acton and North Acton.
Acton hosts the biggest housing estate in West London, named the South Acton estate, with around 2,000 houses and 5,800 residents. The region is currently in phase two of a major 15-year phased regeneration which includes almost full demolition of the existing residential units plus the building of brand new and much more residences. This is likely to increase its population further.
