Patios continue to be an extremely fashionable way of creating functional outdoor spaces that can be used for entertaining, dining, or simply to enhance the beauty of your garden. Patios are constructed from block or slab paving and are available in a huge variety of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns that have a consistent effect. Patios are extremely durable and demand almost no maintenance, only infrequent cleaning to protect the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are generally installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this creates a smooth transition between the inside and outside spaces.
Patios come in a huge range of colours and types of stone. Consider including a different colour and style of stone to either inlay a stylish design or as edging to highlight the shape of your patio. It is critical to consider the use of your patio when designing it and measure precisely to ensure that any furniture will fit the intended space. Experienced patio and paving companies can design you a patio that perfectly meets your requirements and creates an outdoor area that is practical as well as beautiful.
