Patios continue to be an extremely widely used way of creating practical outdoor spaces which you can use for socialising, dining, or just to enhance the appeal of your garden. Patios are constructed from block or slab paving and can come in a huge array of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns which have a consistent effect. Patios are incredibly hard wearing and need very little maintenance, only occasional cleaning to protect the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are usually installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this causes a smooth transition between the inside and outside spaces.
Patios come in a huge array of colours and types of stone. Consider including a different colour and style of stone to either inlay an elegant design or as edging to complement the shape of your patio. It is critical to consider the use of your patio when designing it and measure precisely to be sure that any furniture will fit the intended space. Specialist patio and paving companies will be able to design you a patio that perfectly meets your requirements and creates an outdoor area that is useful as well as beautiful.

The London Borough of Ealing is a London Borough in west London, England, and forms part of Outer London. The London borough was formed in 1965 by the merging the area of the Municipal Borough of Ealing, the Municipal Borough of Southall and the Municipal Borough of Acton. The London Borough of Ealing borders the London Borough of Hillingdon to the west, the London Borough of Harrow and also the London Borough of Brent towards the north, the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham towards the east along with the London Borough of Hounslow towards the south. It covers a total area of around 21.44 square miles.
As outlined by population estimates from the middle of 2014, the borough includes a permanent population of about 342118 people. This makes it the third largest London Borough in population, and 11th largest in size, covering part of west London in addition to a small part of northwest London. Its administrative centre is Ealing Broadway. Other significant centres consist of Acton, Greenford and Southall.
The town is served by several National Rail and London Underground stations. As well as Brentford, the London Borough of Ealing is the setting for a great deal of the action in Robert Rankin’s trilogy comedic novels, The Brentford Trilogy, which currently includes six volumes. Ealing is also the primary setting for ‘The Sarah Jane Adventures’, being the location of Sarah Jane Smith’s home. 330 hectares within the borough are designated as a part of the Metropolitan Green Belt.
