Paving is a popular way of creating bespoke and beautiful spaces in your garden. Hard wearing and durable, paving offers an ideal way of providing spaces for dining or socialising, or it can simply be used as a low maintenance replacement for grass. Paving is also great for providing access to different areas of your garden, and is also perfect for use if you’ve got a gated side alley with your home, or for creating a path across your lawn.
Garden paving comes in a variety of styles and types of stone. Whether you select marble, granite, limestone, slate, or sandstone, there will be a type of stone to fit your specifications. Garden paving can even be found in vitrified tile, which is a type of very hard wearing porcelain tile suitable for outdoor use. When considering your paving options, make sure that you speak to a number of companies and manufacturers to make certain you find the perfect style for your garden. Also consider using a differing style for detailing or edging, and choose a pattern that enhances your space and draws attention to any features you want to highlight.
Laying paving is a relatively easy task, but it does require a foundation to be laid that is level and able to support the weight of the paving as well as of any furniture you would like to have on top of the paving.

Belgravia is a district in West London inside the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It’s got incredibly highly-priced residential properties and is considered to be one of the wealthiest districts in the world. It lies south west of Buckingham Palace. The district gets its name from one of the Duke of Westminster’s subsidiary titles, Viscount Belgrave.
Belgravia’s Grosvenor Estate continues to be owned by a family property business, namely the Duke of Westminster’s Grosvenor Group. However, the estate has been forced to sell a great deal of its freeholds to its tenants, on account of the Leasehold Reform Act 1967.
The majority of Belgravia used to be owned by Richard Grosvenor, 2nd Marquess of Westminster, who created it throughout the 1820s and onwards. Thomas Cubitt mostly worked on the project. You’ll discover plenty of grand terraces at white stucco houses focused around Belgrave Square and Eaton Square. A lot of embassies are placed in this location, specifically in Belgrave Square.
Pimlico Road, on the southern side of Belgravia, is well-known for its antique shops and high-end furniture showrooms. 1 established brand along the road is Arthur Brett. Regardless of these shops, it is a quiet district of London and neighbouring districts are substantially busier with more shops, offices and hotels.
