Garden sheds are a crucial component of any practical garden space. They offer storage for bulky garden tools, as well as for other tools. A substantial shed might even provide enough room for plant potting or a general workshop. Alternatively, a big shed could be used as an indoor seating area. Garden sheds are available in a huge selection of sizes and can be specified to your exact needs, providing you with full control over the amount and placement of windows, type, size and location of door, and design of roof.
Garden sheds normally come in one of three materials. Wooden sheds are the typical design and can be integrated well into any garden creating a natural look, especially if the wood used for the shed is matched to surrounding fences. Wooden sheds are still extremely popular, although they will demand maintenance by retreating or staining the wood to preserve the lifespan of the shed. Garden sheds are also made of metal, which is very strong and therefore great for storage of tools and other equipment. Metal sheds also require almost no maintenance. The final material for garden sheds is plastic, which in modern examples is a lot more durable than might be expected.
When contemplating a garden shed, it’s essential to make certain you choose one which will fit in your garden space. Garden sheds should be placed on a flat area, and will need a base to be built as a foundation. This base could be made from either concrete, paving, gravel or a floating timber base, but will have to be the right size for your shed and capable of supporting the weight of your shed when loaded.

The town of Banbridge is in Northern Ireland’s County Down. It is situated around the River Bann along with a dual carriageway, with its name coming from a bridge that was built to cross the River Bann in 1712. It’s included in the civil parish of Seapatrick along with the historic barony of Iveagh Upper, Upper Half. Banbridge is at present the administrative base for the Banbridge District Council. As recorded in the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent resident population of about 16653. It is classed as a medium town and within the population, 24.4% were under 16 years old, 16.1% were more than 60 years of age, and 49.5 percent were male, leaving 50.5 percent as female. The town emerged as a coach stop on the road between Belfast and Dublin, and it prospered from the manufacturing process of Irish linen. A striking part of the town is its distinctive main street, which rises to a steep hill just before levelling out. An underpass had to be constructed in 1834 as a result of the demanding street causing horses carrying heavy loads to faint before they made it to the top of the hill. Built by William Dargan, it’s officially named the Downshire Bridge, even though it is frequently referred to as ‘The Cut’. The town is extensively recognized for being close to the Bronte Homeland in Rathfriland, attracting several tourists for this reason. One more attraction is the annual busking festival, ‘Buskfest’, which has been running since 2004. Participants have frequently travelled long distances to perform, and also the competition finishes with an evening concert consisting of performances by recognised artists. For all your residence improvements, be certain that you work with vetted pros in Banbridge to ensure you get the best quality service.
