Patios remain a very popular method of creating functional outdoor spaces that you can use for socialising, dining, or simply to enhance the attractiveness of your garden. Patios are constructed from block or slab paving and can come in an enormous range of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns that have a consistent effect. Patios are incredibly durable and need very little maintenance, only periodic cleaning to retain the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are usually installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this creates a smooth transition between the inside and outside spaces.
Patios come in a huge variety of colours and types of stone. Give some thought to introducing a different colour and kind of stone to either inlay a fashionable design or as edging to highlight the shape of your patio. It is important to consider the use of your patio when designing it and measure precisely to ensure that any furniture will fit the intended space. Professional patio and paving companies can design you a patio that perfectly satisfies your needs and creates an outdoor area that is useful as well as beautiful.

The town of Banbridge is in Northern Ireland’s County Down. It is situated around the River Bann along with a dual carriageway, with its name coming from a bridge that was constructed over the River Bann in 1712. It’s a part of the civil parish of Seapatrick and also the historic barony of Iveagh Upper, Upper Half. Banbridge is at the moment the administrative base for the Banbridge District Council. As per the 2011 Census, the town has a resident population of approximately 16653. It is classed as a medium town and of the population, 24.4% were aged under 16 years, 16.1% were over 60 years of age, and 49.5% were male, leaving 50.5% as female. In its early years, the town was a coach stop on the road in between Belfast and Dublin, and it prospered from the manufacture of Irish linen. A striking aspect of the town is its recognisable main street, which rises to a steep hill ahead of levelling out. An underpass had to be built in 1834 as a result of the steep street causing horses with heavy loads to faint before they got to the top . Built by William Dargan, it is officially called the Downshire Bridge, although it is regularly referred to as ‘The Cut’. The town is broadly identified for being close to the Bronte Homeland in Rathfriland, attracting quite a few visitors who visit this location. One more attraction is the annual busking festival, ‘Buskfest’, which has been running since 2004. Participants have often travelled lengthy distances to perform, and the competition finishes with an evening concert including performances by established artists. For all your home improvement work, make sure that you utilise trusted pros in Banbridge to ensure you get the top quality service.
