Although its importance as an element of garden design is sometimes overlooked, fencing is an essential part of both the appearance and useability of your garden. Garden fencing will differ between the front and back of properties, with taller and more secure wooden fencing generally being placed in the rear garden, while the front of the property generally employs more compact and more decorative fencing. Fencing for the front of the home tends to have a low height and large spaces between the wooden slats. It is also often coloured to enhance its decorative effect.
Fencing in the back garden is often used for privacy and to maintain the borders of a garden, as well as to keep household pets or other small animals or wildlife either in or out. For this reason, these styles of fences are roughly 6 feet high and use wooden slats with no gaps in between. Because of the increased height, these fences often have concrete footings laid between each section to offer strength and stop the fence from blowing over or being ruined in bad weather.
Garden fencing sections are generally constructed from wood. The posts in between the panels are produced from either wood, stone, or concrete. Recently, fence panels have started to be constructed from heavily recycled and sustainable composite materials such as recycled bamboo.

Ascot is an affluent small town in the eastern area in the English county of Berkshire. It is situated six miles (9.7 kilometres) south of Windsor, 4 miles (6.4 km) east of Bracknell and 25 miles (40 kilometres) west of London. The town is comprised of three places: Ascot itself, North Ascot and South Ascot. As outlined by the 2001 Census, Ascot boasts a resident population of around 11603. The town is most well-known for being the location of Ascot Racecourse, home of the famous Royal Ascot meeting. Held each year in June, Royal Ascot is one of the world’s most famous race meetings, steeped in history which dates back to 1711. The royal family attend the meeting, arriving every day in a horse-drawn carriage, and it continues to be a significant occasion in the British social calendar. Many of the amenities are associated to the racecourse, but there’s a variety of shops in the wide High Street. These include a supermarket, petrol station and quite a few cafes. Most of the buildings are dated from the immediate post-war period with flats above the ground floor retail space. Heatherwood Hospital, the filming location for ‘Carry on Matron’, was at the western edge of the town. Ascot has a station on a bi-section of the railway line from London’s Waterloo station to Reading, Bagshot, Aldershot and Guildford, initially constructed by the London and South Western Railway and now operated by South West Trains. As a result of the efficient and frequent service on this line, Ascot has turned into a commuter centre with its residents travelling westwards to Reading and eastwards to London. For all of your house improvement work, be sure that you employ trustworthy pros in Ascot to ensure that you get the very best quality service.
