Wooden decking is an increasingly prevalent option for creating outdoor seating areas in gardens. Because of the natural beauty of wood, they can be very elegant areas that can be used year round by installing outside heating and lighting. Wooden decking is commonly fitted in locations in front of patio or French doors where they can create a seamless transition between inside and outside spaces. Wooden decking can come in virtually any size or shape to complement any area. Curved designs or large areas linked by pathways can create an impressive effect.
Wooden decking is relatively quick to install and causes minimal disruption, particularly in comparison to alternatives like patio or paving. It can even be installed over the top of an existing patio. It is essential however to make certain that your wooden decking is structurally sound and able to take the load of any furniture or plants that you would like to use on the decking.
There is a array of varieties of wood that can be used in wooden decking. Often decking is constructed from hardwood, but there are softwoods available that fulfil the durability requirements. As hardwood decking will demand maintenance, which commonly requires annual cleaning and staining for weather proofing, composite woods have become more popular for use in wooden decking as they are more robust and require much less maintenance.

The Kennet and Avon Canal travels through the town from the west alongside the River Dun, a significant tributary of the River Kennet. The confluence with the Kennet is to the north of the centre whence canal and river both continue east. Facilities consist of colleges, stores, cafés, restaurants, and also centers for the primary national sporting activities. The church was split into four tithings: Hungerford or Town, Sanden Fee, Eddington with Hidden and Newtown as well as Charnham Street. North and South Standen and also Charnham Street were officially removed parts of Wiltshire till moved to Berkshire in 1895. Leverton as well as Calcot were moved to Hungerford parish from Chilton Foliat in Wiltshire in 1895.
