PVCu decking is an increasingly prevalent choice for creating outdoor seating areas in gardens. Because of the beauty of the wood effect, they can be very beautiful areas which you can use year round by installing outside heating and light. PVCu decking is usually installed in locations in front of patio or French doors where they can create a seamless transition between inside and outside spaces. PVCu decking can come in virtually any size or shape to complement any area. Curved designs or large areas linked by pathways can create an attractive effect.
PVCu decking is relatively simple to install and causes little disruption, particularly when compared to other possibilities like patio or paving. It can even be installed over the top of an existing patio. It is important however to be sure that your PVCu decking is structurally sound and capable of taking the weight of any furniture or plants that you would like to use on the decking.
There is a choice of varieties of wood effect that can be used in PVCu decking. Usually decking is made of plastic. As plastic decking will require maintenance, which typically will involve yearly cleaning and staining for weather proofing, composite woods have become popular for use in PVCu decking as they are stronger and require much less maintenance.
