Patio

Patios continue to be a very popular method of creating practical outdoor spaces which you can use for entertaining, dining, or just to enhance the appeal of your garden. Patios are built from block or slab paving and are available in a huge array of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns which have a consistent effect. Patios are particularly hard wearing and need hardly any maintenance, only occasional cleaning to protect the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are usually installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this causes a seamless transition between the inside and outside spaces. Patios come in a huge array of colours and types of stone. Consider using a different colour and type of stone to either inlay a stylish design or as edging to highlight the shape of your patio. It is important to consider the use of your patio when planning it and measure accurately to ensure that any furniture fits the intended space. Professional patio and paving companies will be able to design you a patio that perfectly satisfies your needs and creates an outdoor area that is functional as well as beautiful.
