Patios remain an extremely widely used method of creating practical outdoor spaces that you can use for entertaining, dining, or just to enhance the attractiveness of your garden. Patios are made from block or slab paving and can come in a huge variety of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns that have a consistent effect. Patios are particularly hard wearing and require hardly any maintenance, only periodic cleaning to maintain the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are generally installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this results in a smooth transition between the inside and outside spaces.
Patios come in a wide selection of colours and types of stone. Give some thought to using a different colour and style of stone to either inlay a stylish design or as edging to highlight the shape of your patio. It is important to consider the use of your patio when designing it and measure precisely to ensure that any furniture fits the intended space. Professional patio and paving companies will be able to design you a patio that perfectly meets your requirements and creates an outdoor area that is practical as well as beautiful.

Clevedon is a town and civil parish within the unitary authority of North Somerset, which forms a part of the ceremonial county of Somerset and Avon. The town is encompassed by a group of small hills, including Church Hill, Wain’s Hill, Dial Hill, Strawberry Hill, Castle Hill, Hangstone Hill, and Court Hill. On a day with higher visibility, a lot can be observed across the Severn Estuary to Wales, such as Steep Holm and Bristol Channel islands. The Severn Estuary’s tidal rise and fall can be as high as 14.5 metres, which comes second to Bay of Fundy in Eastern Canada. Clevedon’s expansion began in the Victorian period when it became a well known seaside resort, with transport offered by a short branch line from the primary railway at Yatton between 1847 and 1966. The seafront continues to contain ornamental gardens, a Victorian bandstand and a lot of visitor attractions. There is a mixture of pebbled beaches and low rocky cliffs around the shore, and also the rocky beach has been labelled as the Clevedon Shore Geological Site of Special Scientific Interest. Clevedon Pier, which opened in 1869, is one of the earliest examples of a British Victorian pier that remains in existence. In addition to such attractive landmarks as Walton Castle and Clevedon Court, the town offers various educational, religious, cultural and leisure buildings.
