Patios continue to be an extremely common method of creating practical outdoor spaces that can be used for entertaining, dining, or simply to enhance the beauty of your garden. Patios are created from block or slab paving and are available in an enormous variety of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns which have a consistent effect. Patios are particularly durable and require minimal maintenance, only infrequent cleaning to retain the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are usually installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this causes a seamless transition between the inside and outside spaces.
Patios come in a huge assortment of colours and types of stone. Give some thought to adding a different colour and type of stone to either inlay a stylish design or as edging to complement the shape of your patio. It is essential to consider the use of your patio when designing it and measure precisely to ensure that any furniture fits the intended space. Specialist patio and paving companies will be able to design you a patio that perfectly fulfills your preferences and creates an outdoor area that is functional as well as beautiful.

Translated as ‘lone ridge’, Antrim is a town and civil parish in County Antrim in the northeast of Northern Ireland. It’s positioned on the banks of the Six Mile Water, half a mile from Lough Neagh. It is the county town of County Antrim and prior to this, was the administrative centre of Antrim Borough Council. There are several divisions and suburbs of Antrim, some of which are Ballycraigy, Carnbeg, Caulside, Dublin Road, Greenvale, Greystone, Islandbawn, Meadowlands, Muckamore, Newpark, Niblock, and also the Folly. Boasting a population of 20001, Antrim is categorised as a large sized town by the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency. Within this population, 23.1 percent were under 16 years old and 15.7% were older than 60. 48.6 percent of the population were male and 51.4% were female. Quite a few buildings inside the town are of historical significance, especially near the High Street. Some of these buildings are the courthouse, a 19th-century smithy on Bridge Street, which features a special horseshoe entrance, Shane’s Castle and Antrim Castle, the Castle Grounds, plus the Springfarm Rath. Renovations on Antrim Market House, a 2-storey building which is 9 bays long, 3 deep, constructed in 1726, are currently happening. This will include Antrim Information Centre, relocating it from its place on the High Street, in addition to a multi-functional auditorium in an effort to offer an area for many functions, including theatre and music productions. As a result of being on the banks of a river, the linen industry was prominent in Antrim, although this was affected by the decline in the industry over the 20th century. It has been replaced by Northern Ireland’s Technology Park. For all your house improvement, make sure that you use trusted professionals in Antrim to make sure that you get the very best quality.
