Landscaping is a term that means modifying the visible features of land, and can as a result include numerous gardening tasks, from simple DIY jobs to full scale design and build landscaping solutions. Landscaping is generally separated into two separate areas. Soft landscaping refers to alterations to plants, trees and bushes, as well as laying turf. Hard landscaping is used to group transformations to terrain like the installation of patios, walls, fences, decking, driveways, or artificial grass. Landscaping will also include maintenance jobs like mowing and strimming lawns, trimming hedges and bushes and pruning trees, although these activities are often performed together with larger scale changes to the garden itself. Expert landscaping experts can carry out a survey of your garden and advise you on the ideal improvements to maximise the use of your space. If you have always desired an outdoor patio, sleeper beds for planting or a water feature, a landscape company will undertake the design and build of these elements. In addition, many landscaping companies also offer an aftercare service, where they will undertake regular upkeep on your garden to ensure its new features remain in perfect condition. Landscaping works can make your garden and the other areas around your property such as your driveway a truly useful and attractive space that you can enjoy for many years to come.
