Paving is a popular way of creating bespoke and beautiful spaces in your garden. Hard wearing and resilient, paving offers an excellent way of providing spaces for dining or socialising, or it can simply be used as a low maintenance replacement for grass. Paving is also ideal for providing access to different regions of your garden, and is also perfect for use if you’ve got a gated side alley with your home, or for creating a path across your lawn.
Garden paving comes in a variety of designs and types of stone. Whether you pick marble, granite, limestone, slate, or sandstone, there will be a type of stone to fit your needs. Garden paving may also be found in vitrified tile, which is a sort of very resilient porcelain tile ideal for outdoor use. Whenever choosing your paving options, be sure to speak to a number of companies and manufacturers to ensure that you choose the perfect style for your garden. Also consider utilising a differing style for detailing or edging, and choose a pattern that enhances your space and attracts focus on any features you want to highlight.
Laying paving is a relatively easy job, but it will require a base to be laid that is level and capable of supporting the weight of the paving as well as of any furniture you would like to have on top of the paving.

Largs is a town on the Firth of Clyde in North Ayrshire in Scotland. It lies about 33 miles (53 km) from Glasgow. The original name means “the slopes” (An Leargaidh) in Scottish Gaelic. The town markets itself on its cultural connections with the Vikings and an annual fair is held in early September. According to the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent population of around 11241. Largs developed from the estates of North Cunninghame over which the Montgomeries of Skelmorlie ended up being temporal lords in the 17th century. Sir Robert Montgomerie created Skelmorlie Aisle in the ancient kirk of Largs in 1636 as a family mausoleum. Today, the monument is all that stays of the old kirk. From its roots as a modest village around its kirk, Largs developed into a bustling and popular seaside resort in the 19th century. Large hotels were built and the pier was finished in 1834. It was not till 1895, however, that the railway made the connection to Largs, which cemented the town’s popularity. It additionally transformed into a fashionable location to live, and various outstanding mansions were built. The most considerable of which includes ‘Netherhall’, the residence of William Thomson, Lord Kelvin, the physicist and engineer. Despite its reduced status as a holiday resort, much of Largs is still focused towards tourism. There is the award winning Vikingar Centre at Barrfields, an interactive glimpse into the history of Viking life; Kelburn Country Centre, Barrfields Pavilion Theatre, Largs Pool, Douglas Park and Inverclyde National Sports Training Centre. It is best known for ‘Nardinis’, the distinguished ice cream parlour, coffee shop and restaurant, that dominates the Esplanade and which reopened in late 2008. For all of your home renovations, be sure to find reliable specialists in Largs to make certain of quality.
