Paving is a popular way of designing bespoke and appealing spaces in your garden. Strong and tough, paving offers an effective way of providing spaces for dining or socialising, or it can simply be used as a low maintenance replacement for grass. Paving is also great for providing access to different areas of your garden, and is also perfect for use if you’ve got a gated side alley with your home, or for creating a path across your lawn. Garden paving is available in an array of styles and types of stone. Whether you choose marble, granite, limestone, slate, or sandstone, there is bound to be a type of stone to suit your requirements. Garden paving can be found in vitrified tile, which is a type of very robust porcelain tile ideal for outdoor use. When selecting your paving options, be sure to speak to a variety of companies and manufacturers to make certain you pick the perfect style for your garden. Also consider utilising a differing style for detailing or edging, and choose a pattern that accentuates your space and attracts focus on any features you want to showcase. Laying paving is a relatively easy project, but it will require a base to be laid that is level and capable of supporting the weight of the paving as well as of any furniture you want to have on top of the paving.

Holywood is a town in the urban area of Belfast in County Down, Northern Ireland. It is a civil parish and townland consisting of 755 acres lying on the coast of Belfast Lough, between Belfast and Bangor. Holywood Urban Area is classified as a medium town within the Belfast Metropolitan Urban Area (BMUA) by the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency, with the 2001 Census noting a permanent population of 12037. Within this population, around 20 per cent are aged under 16 years of age and 21 per cent were aged 60 and over. 50.6 per cent of the population is male and 49.4 percent is female. The train line from Belfast to Holywood arrived in 1848, and this triggered fast growth. This expansion, in combination with that of surrounding towns and villages along the seaside strip to Bangor, demanded the development of the Holywood Bypass in the early 1970s. The town is a popular house and is noted for its classy shops, boutiques, arts and crafts. Holywood is most well-known for its maypole at the crossroads in the centre of town. Its origin continues to be rather unclear, but, according to local folklore, it stems from 1700, when a Dutch ship is alleged to have run aground on the coast close by, and the crew put up the broken mast to display their appreciation of the assistance used to them by the townsfolk. The maypole continues to be in regular use for dancing at the annual May Day fair. The town also holds a yearly jazz and blues celebration. There are lots of sporting options in Holywood, being the home of football clubs, golf clubs, cricket clubs and a sports association. For all your house upgrades, make certain to make use of trustworthy contractors in Holywood to make certain of quality.
